THE BRIDGET NESKO OVARIAN CANCER HOTLINE

The Bridget Nesko Ovarian Cancer Hotline

The Foundation is evaluating the creation of the Bridget Nesko Ovarian Cancer Hotline, staffed 24/7, to respond live to questions and provide information to individuals seeking guidance, advice and direction about ovarian cancer, its diagnosis and treatment. The Hotline will be staffed by “Medical Navigators”, including retired oncology and other medical professionals, cancer survivors and oncology social workers with direct ovarian cancer experience.

As part of this initiative, the Foundation is also in the process of developing a detailed databank of information about quality medical practitioners with documented experience in working with ovarian cancer patients and their families.

Through this service, we will assign a “buddy” from our team to work with each caller throughout the ovarian cancer journey.

Our Hotline Project Team anticipates enacting a Pilot Program in the Greater Delaware Valley region by late 2025, with targeted national roll-out by 2027.

Workstreams and project teams are being finalized now to undertake this program. If you have an interest in supporting this initiative financially, or in working with our Project Team to help shape and launch this program, please contact us at (856) 595 2184.
