Financial & In-Kind Contributions of Support

The Bridget Nesko Ovarian Cancer Education Center is in the process of becoming a charitable organization dedicated to defying ovarian cancer and to transforming the lives of individuals and families facing difficult circumstances resulting from ovarian cancer. 

Our programs focus on providing support, resources and education to those affected and also, and perhaps most importantly, to the medical community.

All public donations made to the Center will be used exclusively for public and medical community ovarian cancer awareness programs through the Bridget Nesko Ovarian Cancer Education Center. NO public donations to the organization will EVER be used by volunteer Trustees, Advisory Board Members or Corporate Officers for salaries or personal expenses.  

As of September 28, 2025, the Bridget Nesko Ovarian Cancer Education Center is applying to become a registered New Jersey nonprofit corporation and publicly funded charity, and is applying for its tax-exempt authority (501c3 designation) from the United States Department of Internal Revenue in October, 2025. 

This designation means that your financial or in-kind (something such as goods, commodities or time, other than money) contribution to the Center will be tax-deductible, the value for which can be used to offset your net earnings/income for the tax year.

For tax reporting purposes, the Center will issue proof of your financial and In-Kind contribution annually in March. In cases of material or service donations (for example, meeting space, computer equipment, stationery or time you invest in a Board, Advisory or Volunteer capacity), we will value and issue a receipt to you for such value within 90 days of receipt or activity.
