The Gilda Radner Ovarian Cancer Early Intervention Initiative
Working closely with a major New England medical education University, Gilda's Club of Metro Detroit and Mr. Michael Radner - Gilda Radner's brother and a major advocate for ovarian cancer early intervention and treatment - the Bridget Nesko Ovarian Cancer Education Center will launch a free 60-minute refresher course designed to make primary medical practitioners ("PMP") acutely aware and sensitive to the possible presence of ovarian and other gynecologic cancers in their female patient populations.
The course will award one Continuing Education Credit ("CEU"), as well as a Certification Certificate of Completion to PMPs passing the digital course with a score of 80% or higher. PMPs will also receive both local market and national recognition for successful completion of the course.
The "Gilda Radner Ovarian Cancer Early Intervention Initiative" education course will be accessed here and is tentatively scheduled to launch during the first quarter of 2027.
