BRIDGET NESKO OVARIAN CANCER EDUCATION CENTER

Bridget’s Ovarian Cancer Education Center works with leaders in the healthcare, ovarian cancer research and healthcare education communities to advance general practitioner awareness about ovarian cancer. The purpose is to better prepare General Practitioners and Nurse Practitioners to more quickly recognize the signs and symptoms of ovarian cancer, leading to earlier testing, diagnosis and treatment.

Bridget’s Ovarian Cancer Education Center is also working to create various social media and public educational digital and live “platforms” to make current and unbiased information about ovarian cancer more readily available to the public through a single location.

The platform will provide information and interviews with experienced medical professionals, researchers, survivors, as well as families and caretakers of those confronting ovarian cancer and its fallout. Our purpose is to assure an unbiased understanding of the ovarian cancer journey, from identifying the early signs and symptoms to identifying the steps needed to quickly and aggressively to confront it and its impact.

We will also promote unbiased access to a current and quantifiable database of informed Healthcare Professionals and Healthcare Systems throughout the U.S., skilled in recognizing, testing for and treating ovarian cancer at earlier stages.

The Center will also host live virtual and in-person educational and informational programs and workshops to increase public and media knowledge and awareness about ovarian cancer, practitioner advances and proactive testing and treatment options.
